Many growers and food & drink producers don’t realize how much money could be saved by controlling unchecked contaminants & gases that affect their produce. Whether it’s flowers & vegetables in greenhouses, poultry & pig farms or food & drink manufacturing facilities, ReSPR uses wholly natural processes. It gets to work with top-rated results on organic gases like ethylene & ammonia or combats & destroys mold, harmful bacteria and other volatile organic compounds.

Controls ethylene gas emission in enclosed environments
Removes up to 99.9% of surface & air pathogens
Reduces or eliminates mold, other harmful bacteria & VOCs
Can double vegetable or plant shelf life NATURALLY
Gets rid of ammoniain livestock environments
Increases product quality & yield, with higher profits

Companies Must Maximize Quality & Safety Without Increasing Costs

Indoor air quality provides several challenges for farmers, growers, food manufacturers & drink makers:

Freshness: In flower, fruit and vegetable cultivation and processing, maintaining optimum freshness at every stage from growth to reaching markets is vital to achieving the best price. In controlled spaces the build-up of the naturally-occurring ripening agent ethylene shortens product lifespan dramatically.

Purity: Other airborne contaminants like mold can attack plant produce & by-products such as wine & oils, speeding up ageing &, even at low levels, destroying taste.

Contaminants affect this. Take ammonia gas for example in pig and chicken farms. Increased levels will reduce animal weight gain or cause infection.

The Problem Solved

ReSPR stands out for its ability to attack gases and bacterial threats proactively throughout the whole plant & animal production chain. It uses up to 5 natural processes to actively recreate fresh, outdoor air conditions in a safe, sustainable way. has been proven to be more effective than chemical or similar purification solutions at reducing microorganism concentrations in the air & on surfaces. It uses two types of ionization to reduce particles, UV light and a catalyst to create oxygen and hydrogen-based friendly oxidizers to reduce microbial contaminants and reduce odors. No-one does it like ReSPR does.

Spring Water Bottling: Leading multinational drinks maker

Spring Water Bottling: Leading multinational drinks maker

This major drinks supplier wanted to take extra precautions against mold, yeast and other bacterial contaminants in its ultra-hygienic premises. The company was concerned about keeping their key production area with the best possible air quality, especially the filling lines, to allow them to fully comply with the standards set by TCCC for this production area without all the inconveniences of having to spray hazardous chemicals on production environments.

Located at multiple sites across Spain, ReSPR provides solutions not just for the final filling room but for the whole processing chain, including the laboratory sterile area, water tanks room, filling lines and air conveyor room. ReSPR is able to employ a full range of product solutions from ReSPR modules with our technology easily installed in existing ducting to standalone portable units such as the ReSPR 3001, to ensure the right reach.

Result: All prevention and disinfection goals have been achieved without having to stop production lines. Continuous disinfection takes place while reducing environmental impact and with lower operating and maintenance costs. The reputation of an international brand name is safeguarded in an eco-friendly way.

La Ñeca Fruit & Vegetable Grower – Almeria, Andalucia

La Ñeca Fruit & Vegetable Grower – Almeria, Andalucia

Located in one of Europe’s biggest regions for fresh vegetable cultivation, this family-run international exporter of products such as aubergine & zucchini needs to control the level of microbes and concentration of ethylene gas in its fresh produce storage rooms. With a volume of 170m2 (6000ft2), their temperature (9ºC), humidity control and hygiene standards are typical of the industry. An ReSPR
DuctStation box with technology was installed in the room with excellent results compared to the previous solution used.

Result: With ReSPR the volumes of etylene reduced to 0.2ppm (82% less than the levels using previous solutions) within just 6 days of installation, significantly improving product lifespan. The technology keeps the air purified with virtually undetectable levels of harmful microbes, reducing chances of cross contamination and offering a significant cost saving opportunity to the producer. A product that lasts longer- naturally!

To control ammonia build up in an enclosed space of 3000m2 (106,000ft2), our client asked ReSPR for the solution. In this sector, higher levels of ammonia affect animal weight gain, which may be reduced by up to 10% during prolonged periods of exposure. At very high levels, clearance of bacteria from the lungs is also impaired and therefore the animal is more prone to respiratory disease. We installed 4 ReSPR 5000 modules with ReSPR technology effortlessly into the existing ventilation and heating system.

Result: From a start point measurement of 20mg per cubic meter, within 48 hours this had lowered to 6mg/m2 and after 100 hours to 4mg/m2: very low levels & not capable of affecting rearing quality. Happy and more profitable farmers!
